Mumbet’s Freedom Farm is Black and Brown-led cooperative farm and community sanctuary for creativity, connection, education, and wellness. We gather and grow on Mohican ancestral land, Sheffield, MA. We are a start-up worker-owned cooperative on the cusp of closing our first season as a regenerative farm and a space centering the holistic wellness, joy, and liberation of BIPOC folks.

BIPOC folks, Queer folks, and all who experience systematic ‘isms, are in an ongoing journey to find and define HOME--within ourselves and our environments. Unsustainable systems work to disempower and create dissonance, encouraging us to forget that we are free, sacred, of the Earth, and that we need each other. Through Mumbet’s Freedom Farm, we respond to these challenges by co-creating sanctuary and liberated space rooted in relationships and connections to nature that honor the spectrum of our full selves.
